!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a miniature souvenir rifle pencil. It has a spring loaded “bullet” that springs forward when the trigger is pulled. The lead is held in a collet that can be unscrewed to advance or change the lead. 5″ long with the bullet retracted, 5 3/4″ long with it extended. The stock is wood, the metal parts look to be nickel plated sheet metal. There is a red and white sticker on the right side of the buttstock with the inscription “Made in Japan”, and a gold and black sticker on the left side of the butt with the inscription “SOUVENIR OF, WASHINGTON, D.C.”. Mint new condition in the original box with the original lead and tissue paper. The box top with a nice color label showing a picture of the rifle. The box top with one split corner. These rifles are not really rare, but the boxes are! A rifle like this, in mint condition, with the original stickers, and an excellent box, is extremely rare!!! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
