!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale BelMex 2mm rimfire single shot pistol by the legendary Tom P. Weston of Mexico City, Mexico, probably made from the late 1940’s to early 1960’s.  2 1/4″ long overall with a 1 5/16″ barrel of about .086 caliber.  Fire blue finish.  Two piece varnished walnut grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  Serrated hammer spur, the hammer with both half and full cock.  Complete with the original Weston hinged top clam shell cardboard box with push button latch.  The outside of the box covered in red felt.  The interior bottom lined in a dark burgundy velour with 2 loops, one for the barrel and one for the pill capsule of 10 2mm rimfire blank cartridges which is included.  The interior lid lined in an off white silk, and marked “”BELMEX” “MODEL”, WESTON’S, MADERO 13 MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, MEXICAN CRAFTS” in 6 lines.  Also includes the original walnut handle blue steel cleaning rod with yellow brass ferrule, and a twisted wire bristle bore cleaning brush.  The pistol shows 99% strong original fire blue, and shows little sign of having been shot.  The box is excellent showing only traces of handling.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
