Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/6 scale very high quality miniature Brazilian Air force presentation sword complete with original presentation box.  4 13/16″ long overall in the scabbard, 4 11/16″ long without the scabbard, with a 3 3/16″ steel blade. The handles look to be an ivory colored celluloid, or maybe porcelain. The crossguard looks to be gold plated brass wings surrounding a circular middle.  One side with a five point star, sword, & banners.  The other side with a banner or ribbon & some stars.  The pommel is an eagles head.  The rear of the blade marked on one side “EBERLE”, which I assume is the maker.  The scabbard body is brass with parts painted black to look like black leather.  All of the furniture is gold plated except the lower hanging ring which is silver colored.  The quality and workmanship is very nice.  The case is a dark purple with gold trim and a pair of gold wings on each side of a sword.  The case measures 6 1/8″ X 2 1/4″ X 1 3/16″.  The interior bottom is lined in a dark royal blue velour with a cream colored silk cord edging.  The interior lid is lined in a cream colored silk with a diagonal green & yellow ribbon.  The lid interior marked in the upper left corner “EBERLE”.  The sword and scabbard are in about 95% original condition with just a few areas where the black paint has flaked off the scabbard.  The case shows some wear to the corners and edges, and some flaking at the left front corner.  This is the first one of these I have ever seen.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
