Project Description
This is a 1/2 scale FN Browning Auto 5 semi-automatic shotgun made in Italy by Perugini & Visini, engraved by master Perazzi engraver Carlo Pasotti. 23 3/8″ long overall with a 13 3/4″ serrated anti glare vent rib barrel measuring .318″ at the muzzle. Machined steel metal parts with a high polish black/blue finish. The top of the receiver sighting plain, the takedown knob, and the front of the safety also serrated. The top & bottom of the magazine cut off are checkered. Fully functional including the action, safety, magazine cut off, bolt release, etc., & everything works flawlessly! The safety is at the front of the triggerguard. Both sides of the receiver extensively and beautifully engraved in scrolls, as well as engraving on the top & bottom receiver tangs, & the triggerguard. The bottom front of the receiver hand engraved “N (in script) 3”. Two piece highly figured beautiful buttstock & forearm with checkering on the sides & bottom of the forearm, the sides of the wrist on the buttstock, and the butt of the buttstock. Complete with the original brown leather hinged top case with two combination locks & leather carry handle. The interior semi-French fit & lined in a burgundy felt. There is an interior compartment with lid that is empty. This is the first one of these I have been able to offer for sale since my days at Imperial Miniature Armory, where I sold this exact miniature. This piece has been in that same collection since July of 1995, & is one of the finest miniatures I have ever seen!!! Only about six of these were made. Near mint & virtually flawless! Stock # BH-2542. Price: $10,500.00.
