This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 7 1/2 inch barrel made by Uberti in Italy. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 6″ long overall with a 3 7/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Features include blue & case colored finish, black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early style “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The two patent date markings on the left front of the frame. Very early serial number 933 stamped into the frame & trigger guard, & the bottom of the backstrap. 33 is stamped into the rear of the cylinder & loading gate hinge. The bottom of the barrel with the very early Uberti marking “A. UBERTI FECIT”. Checkered hammer spur. Blue blade type front sight. Nicely figured dark one piece walnut grip with a satin finish.
