This is a pair of very early Uberti 47% scale Colt single action army revolvers with black powder frames, blue and case colored finish, and 5 1/2″ barrels. Probably made about 1990. While they are not consecutively numbered, the serial numbers are close enough that they make a nice matched pair, as most original cased Colt pairs were not consecutively numbered, but were close. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 5 3/16″ long overall with 2 9/16″ rifled barrels of .21 caliber. Features include the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side. Very early serial numbers 1051 and 1092 stamped into the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. The last two digits of the serial numbers stamped into loading gate hinges. The bottom of the barrel roll stamped “A. UBERTI ITALY”. Checkered hammer spur. Nickel silver blade type front sight. Nicely figured one piece walnut grips with a high gloss finish. Excellent near mint condition showing 100% blue and case colors and only a couple of tiny bruises in the walnut grips. It is very seldom that I get a matched pair anymore. These would be great for your double holster gunbelt rig or to case up as a pair. Price: $1,500.00.
