Project Description

This is a 1/3 scale MP-38 Schmeisser machine pistol made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago.  8 1/4″ long overall with the stock folded.  10 15/16″ long overall with the stock extended.  3 5/16″ barrel of about .106 caliber.  Machined steel and Bakelite construction.  The steel parts are blued.  The Bakelite is a very dark brown.  The round part of the receiver is fluted.  The stock, pistol grips, and each side of the front of the stock are serrated.  Serrated muzzle nut.  Two leaf rear sight where one is stationary and the other folds rearward.  Checkered magazine release, stock release, take down nut, and the sides of the folding leaf sight.  Aluminum barrel rest.  This is an early model with no markings or serial number.  No Miniart markings.    32 round blued sheet steel magazine.  Includes four solid steel 1/2 scale 9mm dummy cartridges that will feed, chamber, extract, and eject when the action is manually cycled.  Mint condition showing only the most minor signs of handling, I’d call it 99+%.  Stock # JM-102.  Price:  4,500.00.
