Project Description

This is a 1/3 scale experimantal stainless steel receiver Thompson Model 1928 A1 sub-machine gun made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia.  This was an experimental trials version of the 1928 A1 Thompson that was made for the U.S. Navy.  11″ long overall with a 4 5/16″ long barrel including the Cutts compensator.  Detachable buttstock, finned barrel with Cutts compensator, vertical pistol grip fore grip.  The buttplate with the trapdoor for an oiler, no oiler included.  Lyman windage & elevation adjustable rear sight.  Deluxe walnut stock and pistol grips.  The sides of the upper & lower receiver with the proper markings laser engraved.  Serial # 003 laser engraved on the left side of the upper receiver.  50 round “L” drum magazine with the proper markings laser engraved.  Blue finished steel parts except for the bolt which is finished in the white and the stainless steel upper & lower receivers.  Complete with 5 rounds of solid steel dummy ammunition that will feed, chamber, extract, & eject when the action is cycled manually.   Also includes a miniature Thompson instruction manual.  Miniart only made six of these.  Stock # ES-38.  Price:  $3,850.00.
