Project Description

This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 7 1/2 inch barrel made by Uberti in Italy.  Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”.  Fully functional, but non-firing.  6″ long overall with a 3 7/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Features include blue & case colored finish, black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early style “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The two patent date markings on the left front of the frame.  Early serial number 1386 stamped into the frame, trigger guard, & backstrap.  386 is stamped into the loading gate hinge. No Uberti markings on the bottom of the barrel.  The barrel is open & without the usual blind pinned plug.  The top of the barrel with the factory roll stamped italics one line barrel address.  Checkered hammer spur.  Blue blade type front sight.  Straight grain one piece walnut grip with a oil type finish.  This piece has been modified by Larry Smith.  The firing pin has been replaced with one long enough to actually hit the primer & the hole in the frame that the firing pin passes through has been enlarged.  Near mint condition with 100% blue & case colors and only a couple small bruises on the left side of the grip.  Price:  $1,000.00.
