Project Description

This is a 45% scale British Stem MK II made by GHK in China.  Fully functional, and as far as I can tell, it has every part just like the full size Sten.  14 5/8″ long overall with a 3 9/16″ barrel.  The barrel is not drill through.  Made of high quality steel with a flat black oxide finish.  The magazine well is marked “STEN Mk II” on the top, and “735119, Reginald Shepard, Harold, Turpin, Enfield, ERA” on the bottom.  No other markings.  It comes with both the loop stock and the “T” stock which are easily interchanged.  Functional spring loaded magazine.  The magazine well swivels down for carry as it should.  The front sight held in place by two Phillips head screws, and these should probably properly be slotted screws as Phillips head screws were not commonly available in WWII.  Included are five dummy cartridges, which are in three pieces, a brass case, a copper colored bullet, and a white steel pin for the primer, along with a tool for assembling them into  completed assembled dummy cartridges.  Also included is an instruction manual that shows proper disassembly and the original cardboard box with black foam insert and a Lucite display stand.  This is a very well made high quality miniature and a true bargain at this price!  One in 1/2 scale by Jerry Missimer or Tim Olsen would cost at least five times as much!!!  Several available.  Price:  $175.00.
