Olson-Sten-MKV-1.JPG

This is a 1/2 scale British Sten MK-V sub-machine gun made by master miniature maker Tim Olson.  15 7/8" long not counting the spike bayonet, 20 1/4" long with the bayonet.  4" long barrel of .184 bore.  Fully functional but non-firing.  All steel parts are blued turning brown.  The stock and pistol grips are oil finished straight grained walnut, the stock showing a little cross figure.  Functional magazine with follower & spring.  A beautiful piece, if you can say that about a Stem!  Probably much finer finished that a real full sized one.  Tim is one of the better makers in the U.S.  His work is rare and highly collected.  If I recall correctly, Tim made four of these.
