This
is a neat & unusual 1/3 scale Manhattan pocket model five shot percussion revolver by an unknown English maker.
3 7/8" long overall with a 1 7/8" octagon barrel of about .12 caliber. The frame, cylinder, barrel, wedge,
and hammer are fire blued. The loading lever and rammer are finished in the white. The triggerguard and backstrap
are brass. Two piece walnut grips are held with a single screw. The grips each fitted with a brass escutcheon.
Brass cone type front sight. The left side of the barrel lug marked with an anchor. The right side of the barrel
lug marked with the number 020, probably the serial number. This piece is fully functional. The cylinder rotates
and indexes when the hammer is pulled into half, and then full cock. Then the hammer is released and drops when the
trigger is pulled. Like most miniatures made in England, because of English laws, the cylinder and barrel are not bored
completely through. The workmanship is excellent. The piece shows some minor handling wear with some small scratches.
There are some small areas of blue flaking on the recoil shield, and about 50% of the blue has flaked off the cylinder.
I'd call it 85% original condition overall. Photo 2, Photo 3, Photo 4, Photo 5, Photo 6, Photo 7, Photo 8, Photo 9 Price:

This is a 47% scale Uberti 1848
Colt second model model Dragoon. This has the shorter barrel lug and the squared off frame where it meets the grips,
but still uses the Walker triggerguard that is slanted into the grips. The cylinder has the rectangular notches with approches.
Blue and casecolored finish with silver plated triggerguard and backstrap and nice smooth elephant ivory grips. The top flat
of the rifled barrel has the proper New York barrel address (looks roll marked, but might be engraved), the "Colt's Patent"
markings are engraved on the left side of the frame, proof marks are engraved on the left barrel lug in front of the wedge,
and proof marks are engraved at the rear of the cylinder between the nipples. Cased in a beautiful English type mahognany
caseing with miniature Colt key lock and complete with a silver plated flask, silver plated bullet mold, silver plated combination
nipple wrench/screwdriver, nickel plated oiler, cap tin, cartridge packet, and loading instruction lid label. One of
less than a half dozen that I have ever seen. Truely outstanding!
