Accessories include a walnut handled brass cleaning/extractor rod with brass ferrule; a brass lift top cap tin containing some lead white cloth patches with the lid stamped "-L.H._, SMITH" in two lines; and a one spout powder flask that would contain the 2mm pinfire blank cartridges, none of which are included. The brass cap tin and powder flask showing a nice pleasing mustard patina. The case interior shows some minor friction wear to the lining, and the case exterior showing some minor handling marks.  The slide latch knob was missing on this when I received it, so I sent it back to Larry who replaced the lock and fixed it like new!

Uberti-61-Navy-engr-b-and-CC-stock-22-1.JPG

This is a 47% scale miniature Colt 1861 Navy revolver, engraved, with detachable shoulder stock.   This is very similar to the United States Historical Society "Presidential Edition" which is fully engraved, including the shoulder stock fittings and buttplate, but where the USHS version is fully silver plated, this one is in a blue and case colored finish. It's possible that this may be a USHS prototype, or a special order piece.  The barrel, barrel wedge, cylinder, nipples, screws, triggerguard, backstrap, trigger, lanyard ring, and stock locking screws are all blue. The frame, loading lever, and hammer are case colored.  The stock yoke and buttplate are brass with a pleasing mellow patina. Serial # 22 stamped into the barrel, frame, backstrap, cylinder, and stock yoke.  Beautiful highly figured one piece grips and shoulder stock.  The the piece is in absolute mint condition.  A truly attractive piece and the only one like this that I have ever seen.  Includes a USHS "Classic Edition" glass topped case with etched Colt logo on the glass, French fit and lined in a blue/gray velour which is not original to the miniature, but does a great job of displaying and protecting it.

ColtSAAFlatTopTargetModelinOakLeathercase.jpg

A beautiful 47% scale Colt Single Action Army "Flat Top Target Model" revolver. This started life as a standard Colt SAA from Uberti. The late Terry Farrand milled off the original top strap, then machined the new Flat Top Target top strap and micro welded it on. He also hand made the special target front sight and base. He then did the high polish on the metal which would be standard on a Flat Top Target model. Roger Sampson hand engraved the markings including the barrel address on the top of the barrel. The serial 1834 is engraved on the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap.  All high polish blue finish as would be standard on a Flat Top Target model. Two piece black hard rubber grips with the rampant Colt logo near the top and a winged eagle with shield near the bottom on both sides. The grips with brass escutcheons and a fire blue screw.  A great piece and perfect in every aspect.  Cased in a great oak and leather luggage type hinged top casing with 24 dummy cartridges, an oil bottle, a cleaning rod, and the Colt instructions interior lid label.
